In Prisoner of Askaban, during the Care of Magical Creatures class when Harry is riding Buckbeak around the castle, what was Hagrid and the rest of the class doing? Was Harry gone on the back of a Hippogriff and Hagrid just continued on with his lesson? Did they try and find Harry? What were they doing?

He thought Buckbeak was safe, so didn't try to find Harry

It seems like Harry was favoured by Hagrid, he had an amazing ride, while the others just were watching....idk
