It's really not. Hate is far stronger of an emotion.
Like I'm Deathly Hallows Part 1, in a deleted scene, Hermione says if the locket Horcrux "I hate it", and you feel an actual hatred towards it. It's evil. There isn't any of that with Malfoy. He's a thorn in their side, not someone worthy of the effort it requires to hate.

You could have done so with all this time you've spent saying "no, you're not right", but, once again, sure.
It's clearly not right. There's a distinction between dislike and hate, just as with like and love. That's why there are different words for it...

Dramione will never happen because it makes no sense whatsoever, sorry. They can't stand each other, and they fit better with different people (like their actual spouses). Drastoria and Romione are beautiful and strong ❤.
