I realised after watching the movies again that it's always expelliarmus that counter acts voldemorts Arvada Kedavra? I've never understood this.

It's probably the only thing that they can think of when face to face with him. Jk, I'm not really sure why that is the only spell used, as there are other spells you can use.

We mainly see Harry resist it, and I don't see why a witch or wizard wouldn't have a signature spell. His likely happens to be Expelliarmus, which seems to be widely used in duelling. Maybe it's not even about the specific spell, but about the energy that the witch or wizard can use to fight against Death itself.
Or maybe it is the only spell that guarantees that the caster of the Killing Curse cannot straight away attack again, since their wand flies off faster than a snitch on redbull.

Yeah. And it makes me wonder how can Harry counterattacked Vodemort with Expelliarmus while he had casted Avada Kedavra. Like, is Expelliarmus can be included as strong spell? I tried to read again about harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Expelliarmus and I still don't understand. And you can read here harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Avada_Kedavra, the killing curse is such a strong spell. It says that Harry and Voldemort have twin wand core so priori incantatem occurred. But what about when Harry used Hawthorn? Do I miss something?

It’s not harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Expelliarmus that counter-acts harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Avada_Kedavra , rather the situations where Harry encountered Voldemort allowed him to avoid death. *cough cough* He’s super lucky. Harry Potter’s basically a walking four leaf clover *cough cough*. So why does Harry always use Expelliarmus? Well that would be just his natural reaction. From the wiki page harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Harry_Potter it says that Expelliarmus is his signature spell and would thus be his natural response to any attacks. Just like if person A trained the hammer fist a lot. If person A were attacked, A’s most natural response would be to use what A is most familiar with, that being the hammer fist. This when faced with another in a fight, you’ll most likely see person A demonstrating the use of the hammer fist in a fight a lot, far more than any other attacks.
