I think that “Aurelius” is a name that Grindewald gave Credence to make him think that he knows his identity. Grindewald probably did this to get him on his side as he is the one who told him what his “identity” is. Of course, in FB3 Credence is probably going to discover that the identity that Grindewald gave him is fake and he’s going to get devastated and return to the broken person he used to be.

I read a really good fan theory (I don’t remember who wrote it) but they said that the raven turned into a Phoenix until AFTER Grindewald touched it, and it turned into a Phoenix because he shared a blood pact with Dumbledore, which proves that Credence is not related to Dumbledore.

Also, not only did J.K. Rowling completely go against canon with the entire McGonagall thing, but near the end of the movie Jacob can SEE Hogwarts (note his amazed face). And in the books (or Pottermore) it said that Muggles cannot see Hogwarts, all they see are some castle ruins and a sign that says “Danger, Do Not Enter” (or something like that), so how come Jacob can see Hogwarts?

@AcrobaticLynx29 it is quite possible that Grindelwald manipulated Credence somehow. You wouldn't even need to blame it on the blood pact to have something Grindelwald could've done to bring forth the "pheonix", he could've just transfigured the raven into it with some fiery effects to make it look more convincing (he IS quite skilled in Transfiguration considering that he used human transfiguration, the hardest form of tarsnfiguration, on himself in the first movie to create an exact copy of Percival Graves and succeeded). Also: Dumbledore was born 1881, so he'd be about 46 years old during the second FB movie. You're probably referring to the former information of his age when Rowling said something about him dying with 150 years of age, but she now published his real birth year on pottermore.

EDIT: The only thing I could think of that would explain the ability of Jacob to see Hogwarts is because he is a Squib, who have said ability, but no magic, as we have seen through Filch.

I think muggles can see Hogwarts if they are invited to it. Maybe Newt taking Jacob there counts as an invitation.

People need to chill about new facts, just because they don't make sense. Aurelius could have been born before Kendra died, and even she was already dead before the boat ride, he could have been travelling with a nanny. Besides, Dumbledore is proof of long wizard lifespans, and her age isn't explicitly stated in any of the films.And when it comes to the books, they aren't Potter bibles! Stop taking them so seriously. Rowling can change her mind, her first name's literally JK!
