I think that he was sorted into slytherin for his cunning and determination traits. That could be another reason why some people were uncertain about him.

He was definitely a Gryffindor. He is probably one of the bravest characters in the franchise. Hagrid is also incredibly brave. He willingly jumped off of a flying motorcycle to tackle a death eater on a broom to protect Harry.

Yeah, probably. I just didn’t want to put Luna In ravenclaw becuase that’s her cannon house, and Slytherin was anti-mudblood so I don’t think Hermione could get in even if she wanted to.
