<p>So I was reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix original edition(the pictures will be down below)and it was all battered up so I got a new one. I got the newer edition(again, photo will be down below)and I was so sad because I was flipping through some of the pages. On the starting page of Chapter 28, the original edition says "'Afraid I'm going to have to dock a few points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.' he drawled. 'It's only teachers who can dock points from houses, Malfoy.' said Ernie at once. 'Yeah, we're prefects, too, remember?' snarled Ron. 'I know *prefects* can't dock points, Weasel King' sneered Malfoy."</p><p>In the newer edition, it says "'Afraid I'm going to have to dock a few points from Gryffindor and Hufflepuff.' he drawled. 'You can't take points from fellow prefects, Malfoy.' said Ernie at once. 'I know *prefects* can't dock points from each other.' sneered Malfoy."</p><p>

<p>How interesting! @ILoveRon209 Thanks for sharing!!!! Is it possible for you to include the ISBNs of both editions? (It's okay if you can't) I checked my UK 2012 Pottermore ePub edition (ISBN 13: 978-1-78110-011-0) and by this time Ron's speech was also omitted with the content fixed. My US first hardback edition did contain the original line, but it was published back in 2003 lol.</p><p>
</p><p>I knew about this correction having been done because of the BTS mentioned above, and it made sense because I also remembered Percy clearly docking points before, thus it was in retrospect necessary to specify the "from each other" part; I however didn't pay attention to what was actually changed, and did not realize Ron's line was cut until you posted this. It could have still been kept imo. =/ Felt like he would have wanted to contribute in that scene. xP</p>

<p>@ILoveRon209 I am not sure if the same ISBN got a new cover in 2015 (since Pottermore shop keeps redirecting me to the US one so I'm assuming I'm not seeing the UK ISBN, hence I can't check) but the cover in my 2012 edition used art by Clare Melinsky (though misspelling her name lmao).</p><p>

<p>These kinds of corrections are why I'm starting my collection all over again with the anniversary editions. </p>
I never knew they fixed that. That always bugged me.
