This post is to keep a log of the past votes for changes to the Harry Potter Wiki Discussion Board and explain the process of how voting works. This post will be kept locked to keep it official.
The voting process can begin if a group of users want to propose a change to how the Discussion Board is run or who helps run it. The vote can be hosted by a wiki administrator to get input from the community. The vote will be posted by the administrator and later announced so a greater consensus can be gathered. The vote will be left open for a specified period of time(generally a week). At the end of the specified time period, the votes will be tallied (the vote officially closes when the administrator handling the vote locks the post. Only the administrator who begins the vote may close it).
If a clear majority is in favour (3+ FOR votes), the changes will take place.
NOTE: Only autoconfirmed users with 20+ discussion posts may participate in voting. Any users vote that does not meet the requirements mentioned above will not be counted.
