<p>Does anyone think that good old Snape got what he deserved in The Order of the Phoenix(memory)or were the Mauraders just being rude(excluding Lupin)?</p>

Hey guys! I just found some things Snape, Harry and I have in common! We all have jet black hair, at least one of our parents is muggle born, and we all are so sorry that Lily Evans died. Do you guys have the same stuff in common?

Snape was bullied for no reason by James. But I won't deny the fact that he called Lily a mudblood but at the same time we should not forget it was Snape's worst memory and how much he regretted that.
Snape was tilted towards dark side but it was all a different matter, no connection with bullying.
He deserved it
<p>To be honest, not really, although I do think that some of the stuff he was doing probably would've required teacher intervention(ie creating curses and hexes that had a possibility of killing people) and shouldn't have been left for fifteen- and sixteen-year-olds to dole out the punishment as they wished. Snape was happily willing to hang out with those in his house who hated Muggleborns despite his friendship with Lily, and he never really condoned the behavior as far as we know. However, that doesn't give James and Sirius the right to bully him as they wished. If they were actually concerned about his behavior, then they could've taken it to a teacher, but the fact that they were treating him like they were is pretty messed up, even if Snape was doing bad things.</p>
<p>I don’t think he was a kind hero, but no child deserves to be bullied.</p>
The marauders were just being mean
