This way, Harry’s direct encounter would be told unbiased and fully truthful. I mean, Harry is the only who could and would tell the truth about Voldemort returning who was at the encounter in the goblet of fire. It’s not like any of the Death Eaters would tell the truth. It’s highly unlikely that Lucius Malfoy would just go to the Ministry and say, “Voldemort’s returned and I’ve rejoined him.” This is why I adore Luna and Xenophillius Lovegood.
