How did Quirrell defeat Snape's potion task?

The potion that let harry pass forward was a small container only able to hold a small swallow, obviously Quirrell didn't drink it or maybe it fills itself or something, so how did Quirrell get past that logic puzzle of potion without apparating?

There was only a small swallow in the bottle so if Quirrell already used it then it should be empty or maybe the bottle fill itself again, I think I made it clear in the question

Flame freezing spell on the flames. Voldemort was a dark wizard, and could probably easily get by with a curse, or spell.

If the flames could be dealt with that easily, then what was the point of the puzzle?

To save time, or to trap someone. While it may have been protected pretty well, just goes to show how little it would if three children go through it.

I think its more likely that the bottles refill themselves periodically. Quirrell and Voldemort solved the puzzle, Quirrell drank the potion and went through, and then the bottle refilled itsself before Harry and Hermione entered the room.

Hermione:

‘A lot of the greatest wizards haven’t got an ounce of logic, they’d be stuck in here for ever.’

To solve this challenge Hermiones Muggle upbringing allowed her to solve the challenge with logic, something which apparently doesn't come to wizards naturally.

Tom Riddle/Voldemort also had a Muggle upbringing, so had that 'muggle' logic and high intellect. Quirrell was also the Muggle Studies teacher, so perhaps his appreciation for something as 'mundane' as a logic puzzle meant it wasn't too challenging.

I'm more impressed with their break in at Gringotts without being caught.
