My first thoughts was the Deathday Party. So for that reason I have chosen when the chamber of secrets was opened.

I did think of the troll second though

Every moment is memorable.

1981: really set the stage for everything because Harry became an orphan and was subsequently left at the Dursley’s.

1991: for his other long time friend. McGonagall made it memorable “5 points to will be awarded to each of you for SHEER DUMB LUCK”

1992: Harry was ostracized for a power he wasn’t aware he had nor the significance of said power(cue brilliant Hermione explanation)

1993: the process begins to unravel the frame although no one gets it yet.

1994: as if anything right can happen today? Harry’s forced to compete against 7th years when it should be impossible. Again he is ostracized for someone else’s actions.

I guess the one in the philospher's stone in 1991 where trio fights the troll. Even the chapter's name was Halloween which makes the event even more memorable.
