This is just a fun theory!
The Elder wand, after seeing it's performance through the history of Wizarding World and the HP and FB franchise seems to be possessing powers of the Big Three i.e the three Greek Gods, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades.
1. Zeus- God of Sky/Lightning (He has the power over sky)
And as such, the elder wand too seems to have power over the sky.
For reference, read this extract from CoG Screenplay,
Still driving the carriage, GRINDELWALD swirls his wand in the air toward the surrounding storm clouds. One by one, forks of lightning strike the broomstick riders, knocking each in turn from the sky.-> Strikes Lightning..meaning power over sky.
2.Poseidon- God of Sea(He has power over water)
Similarly, Elder wand seems to have power over water.
Check the reference below,
GRINDELWALD touches the Elder Wand to the river and at once the inside of the carriage begins to fill with water.3.Hades- God of Underworld/Dead(He has always a place for dead in the Underworld)
Similarly, the elder wand always seems to have a place for deads.
Well, the elder wand does have tendency to lead his owners to death because of its possession if we look at it's history..Gregorovitch, Grindelwald, Dumbledore,..
I know it might just be some fancy non-verbal spells which Grindelwald used in the above scenes but I loved to join the parallel between the two Universes (HP and Percy Jackson).
