This has been floating around the net for a couple of years- but it is an interesting mix.
Snape and that quote actually didn't have that much in common- other than what Dumbledore might have told him or what Voldemort might have said about the wand, it's unclear if Snape knew much about the Hallows at all- and it relates to his eternal love of Lily even less.
