While JKR has said Romione isn't perfect by any means, it's a massively long bow to draw to say this in any way supports Dramione, much less makes it 'perfect'.

I understand why people say Draco is Hermiones closest intellectual match, but as their houses show- neither values intellect above all other personality traits. They are completely incompatible in so many other ways that each one values personally, that the match seems impossible outside of complete mind wipes and separation from their peer and mentor groups.

I've read somewhere Rowling was originally gonna make Hermione and Fred a couple.... I thank the heavens THAT didn't happen, I didn't think making fred's death sadder was possible
