Meaning they don’t wanna die? Idk lol

I think it means of all the enemies you will face in your lifetime, death will the last one because you'll defeat it after you die when you go on. I also think it means death isnt something to be afraid of. When you "go on" (Nearly Headless Nick mentioned Sirius Black would have wanted to "go on" which implies you can go somewhere else after death) if you died and went on to that place with no fear at all then you have defeated death. Those are my thoughts on this quote.

I believe it means that death should not be out of hate, but either out of love or old age. To pass peacefully. When we give life through words and kindness, we defeat death in vain. Just a thought 🙂

Death takes pride in the fact that whenever it meets someone ,he/she has to let go of all of his/her worldly possessions,and thus everyone dreads meeting him because everyone is living under this illusion that whatever he/she is,it is because of his/her possessions(it can be anything- his/her physical body,money, material achievements or successful relationships or anything). But death ,as any other arrogant entity fails to understand that it can't scare someone who has already renounced all these worldly desires,in short death simply can't destroy him/her.

Destroying death simply means destroying its ego,to.make it as your equal ,to shake its hand as an old friend ,that person can only, as simply put by JK Rowling ,can 'live even after Death'.

Meaning : Whoever believe in God's Word (Jesus) will be saved from Death and have Life.

1 Cor 15:26 : The last enemy that will be destroyed is Death . Imagine if there are thousands of thousands people get saved but there is still 1 person put in Death means the last enemy still not destroyed.

Think about this deeply - this is the key point of all things.

Harry Potter is a descendant of the Peverells.

The three Peverell brothers made three highly magical artifacts, the cloak, stone and wand.

The brothers made each of these artifacts with the end goal of defeating Death, hence the story about them tricking death.

The cloak hides it user from the eyes of Death as stated, the stone protects the user from the grief that death causes, and the wand, when used in an unprideful way, prevents the wielder from dying in a duel.

But they did not stave off death completely, and so they left that mission to their descendants, which was eventually passed down to the Potters.

Note that the "shall be destroyed" part makes it clear that it is talking about a change that will happen, not something that is happening already like people accepting death. Also try replacing the word 'death' with anything else to see it's obvious meaning, like 'COVID' or even 'life'.
