New Discussion Mod Vote - Newt Strike (nomination cancelled)

EDIT: Unfortunately, I have had to cancel this nomination based on numerous issues raised. Please see the last post in the thread for a complete explanation.

This is a nomination for @Newt Strike as a potential new Discussion Moderator. Newt Strike is a long time community member with extensive experience in discussions modding. He has shown great passion when it comes to engaging with users and actively participates in replying to posts/threads.

Please ask any questions you may have and then vote FOR or AGAINST this nomination.

This vote will remain open until all Q & A has been resolved and voting has largely ceased. This will take at least one week, but may be extended as needed.

Per the Voting Policy, only votes from users with more than 20 Discussion posts will be tallied, although everyone is welcome to ask questions or offer their feedback.

What type of fun activities would you propose? Coz your ideas have shown to be many times against the guidelines so we better discuss on them. As for the newbie guide that you suggest, there already exists one that has all sorts of links to official posts and guidelines and any other help that a new user will need. This just shows your ignorance about the current system and it's support for users and your wish to re-write the moderation practices as soon as you assume rights.. highly concerning and disatisfying..

As for the 2nd point, I'll inform you one thing that this is a nomination posts for you.. not me or anyone else but YOU. If you have any questions regarding me or any of my wikis, come and talk to me on the concerned wikis. If you don't plan on giving OT as rewards then what? Also on HPW you can't just make descions on your own. You have to consult each mods and admin(s) first and then if the vote is in favour then only will things happen. The rash and impulsive decision making nature of yours does concern me a lot about the future of this Dboard..

The number of wikis you moderate doesn't show your capability.. it shows how less time you will be able to give to this very wiki.. your moderation activies can only be seen by users with rights, not others.. so that is not a certificate of qualification.. and even if you end up showing screenshots, you'd be violating rules because those information are not supposed to be revealed publicly..

As for the resignation part you are right you can resign from wikis when you like it.. I would like to put forth a fact that shows the rash and impulsive nature of Newt strike and how it can be harmful to this very wiki. @admins this is quite concerning because if he does choose to resign from this wiki for a "better wiki" or "bigger wiki" than HPW, this wiki would be mod-less and vulnerable to trolls and spammers.. Newt strike, 2 days after being outed publicly that they got Stranger Things wiki just because they were my friend, have now resigned it without any prior notice to the admin team that includes me and two other currently inactive admins. I'll link the thread here.. This proves that @Razorgirl 's words are coming true even before Newt's appointment. He is out of the blue resigning from smaller wikis just for a bigger and better wiki, ie, HPW. This is a very concerning matter...

I don't want to argue with you. You have done your job voting against me. If you don't see me as mod- let it be. I don't have the energy to write essay long comments again and again.

Thank you. I'm bringing you in things just to show that you yourself practice all these things which you are using against me but you still qualify as mod here. It's quite hypocritical on your part.

And who said that I will arrange activities without any consultation from mod/admin? Who said I will remove the official posts?

As for resignation, I didn't know you have to inform admins about it. My apologies. But after what you said as why I was given modship on those wikis, I cannot be there anymore.

I won't be answering/arguing with you anymore.

Terminate my application if need be.

P.S: It's not like I can't answer your questions and not justify them...I can answer your every question but I don't want you to drag things like hell...I know you would find fault in everything. It's pointless....Sorry but I can't satisfy you. If that counts as a negative point to me...let it be.

@Newt Strike again if questions are asked and they remain unanswered, that shows your inability to mod.. irrespective of what you say that you can answer them. You are already "bored" of some questions asked.. how will you handle questions directed at you by users..

Secondly nowhere I repeat nowhere are your and my situations are at par.. I can go on explaining but I'm not the topic of conversation here.. you are..

So what you are saying is that just because you were called out, you decided to resign? Well in that case don't be selective.. TMR and CoC are also there..

And voting isn't the only purpose of this post.. presenting the entire situation is.. this isn't arguing, it is discussion..

Cuz you are being like-

Newt is breathing- that shows how harmful is he for the wiki...

Newt is walking- that shows his inability to mod the wiki...

Newt is eating- that shows how he violate guidelines...

N dun worry about resignation- I will do it on CoC and Pottermore soon. But not on TMR- I was made a bureaucrat by the other bureaucrat not by you.

Ask questions without attacking my personality or my incompetency- if you expect an answer. Don't create unnecessary drama...

As I said- if need be @Ironyak1 is free to terminate this nomination but I'm not going to answer your attacks which are not Discussions...

You are basically taking a revenge cuz you were seen at fault on TMR and had to agree with my mod's appointment.
