Sure, Umbridge is cruel and evil and stuff, but at least she was loyal to the Ministry. And loyalty is something I can respect.

Marge was evil just for the pleasure of being evil. There was no justification of her actions, no pure reason. She was just evil because she could be.

Yes, Umbridge had a motive (even if it was a bad one). She tried to get respect, fear and to punish misbehaviour. Marge was just sadistic. She hurt Harry for the pleasure of hurting Harry

Marge and Umbridge (imo) found pleasure in hurting others. At least Umbridge had an intention- to try to punish students in a harsh way. But Marge did it because she loved insulting and hurting Harry

Nah, Umbridge is Marge but with magical powers. I’m sure Marge would give Harry a blood quill if she had one.
