I don't think so...........i mean the marauders are all in gryffindor and james is a deer and sirius is a dog and peter is a rat. so i don't think it has anything to do with your house. but like @Jessamine Vivere Lie said it probably has something to do with your patronus. i don't know what sirius and peter's patronus is, but james' patronus is a stag and so is his animagus animal so...yeah

Your patronus is based on what describes you. Your animagus well i don't really know so..
