One thing I despise about Harry Potter is that everything is hereto and perfect it's so dumb.

1. Dumbledore isn't the god people think he is, so don't worship him.

2. Aberforth was the best Dumbledore sibling.

3. Molly and Arthur are the most underrated couple.

4. Ron isn't all that bad.

5. MORE DIVERSITY.

6. Lupin and Sirius would've made a great couple.

7. Not all Gryffindors are brave.

8. There should've been a major Hufflepuff character that didn't die.

9. Snape wouldn't have been half as heroic if Neville had been the Chosen One.

10. Also Dean and Seamus would've made a great couple.

@Mothmanprime two things: one, what do you mean by ‘um what’? And two, if you have to be brave to be a Gryffindor, how do you explain Peter? Go on, I’m listening.

1. Harry was obviously queer. No Herero boy thinks about how his best friend’s brothers are hot or how his competitor in the Triwizard Tournament is so chiseledly handsome. He was also mixed race! It’s so obvious that his dad was a PoC. He’s literally a HALF BLOOD, to.

2. Hermione would NOT have been sorted into Ravenclaw if she weren’t in Gryffindor. She is also not the brightest witch of her age. She’s smart, yes, but not open minded enough to be in Ravenclaw. She only accepts facts that are written out in a book with rock-hard evidence, or shoved under her nose by a teacher. She’d‘ve been in Slytherin, the reason she wanted to know everything was because she’s AMBITIOUS. She wants to be the best! I love Hermione, but she’s not some Einstein. She’s incredibly smart, but only when it comes to facts and stuff, not speculation and imagination or creation.

3. RON IS SO UNDERRATED. He is not stupid! He’s just not as conventionally brilliant or ambitious as his brothers, my God, when will people realize that?! Ron was so wronged by the movies. He is fiercely protective of his friends, quick-witted, hilarious, and a brilliant strategist. He is one of my favorite characters of ANY series ever. He is not the bumbling idiot who wouldn’t be able to do up his own zipper without the help of Hermione that the movies make him out to be.

4. Draco Malfoy was not a sexy, misunderstood bad boy. He was a selfish, cruel brat with average looks. Yes, he was done wrong in a lot of ways and indoctrinated into being a Death Eater, but he is not completely blameless. He was RACIST and a bully! Also, Harry isn’t evil for casting Sectumsempra on him. He had no idea what it would do. He just knew it was for enemies. For all he knew, it could’ve just changed Malfoy’s hair color. Draco, however, was COMPLETELY WILLING TO CRUCIO HARRY! He was halfway through saying the magic words before Harry hexed him! If Harry hadn’t done so, he’d’ve been writhing in agony while Malfoy watched, and Snape would have covered it all up. Also, in the Hogwarts Express, he was bragging about his mission from Voldemort! He wasn’t a helpless little victim. He was willing.

5. Snape’s ‘love’ for Lily wasn’t love. It was obsession. Creepy at best and horrifying at worst. James’ patronus was a stag to Lily’s doe, because they complimented each other. Snape’s was a doe because he was obsessed with her, because she was the one person who paid attention to and tolerated his racist arse. Also, in DH, he literally rips the part of the letter containing her signature and wishing love to Sirius, so that he can pretend she’s wishing love to HIM. GROSS!!! Also, he rips her out of the photo of her with Harry and James and just throws is on the floor. Wtf. She was Harry’s and James’, not his. She loved THEM, not him. Snily is disgusting. His ‘love’ for her does not redeem him AT ALL.

6. Dumbledore was not the God people make him out to be, but also not Satan’s reincarnate. He was a fucked up dude who did morally grey things (and some straight up fucked things) in a time of war. Yeah, he basically sent Harry off to die, but he didn’t make the prophecy. Where he fucked up was not telling Harry about it before he absolutely had to (following Sirius’ death).

7. Harry isn’t stupid. If I gave all my reasoning, this section would be, like, a million paragraphs. Go listen to the fifth season of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text, or just look up why Harry wasn’t stupid. He was a smart dude, and smarter than Hermione in a lot of ways (she is still brilliant though, and more book smart). Harry would also 100% win in a duel against anyone in the wizarding world.

8. Harry isn’t an angsty brat. He has PTSD, for fucks sake. If you watched your upperclassman be murdured, were tortured and humiliated, and then sent back into a society that ostracized and ridiculed you, you would be incredibly fucked up to. ESPECIALLY if you grew up physically and psychologically abused by your only living relatives. Harry is a flawed person, but a lot of his biggest flaws (and strengths) come from his trauma.

Yeah, but sometimes people *cough* Peter Pettigrew *cough* get placed in Gryffindor because they value bravery more than the traits of the other houses. It doesn't necessarily mean they actually possess it.
