It’s a downgrade. I think it’s more like a fanfic.

They didn’t get the characteristics right. Like Harry wouldn’t keep Albus away from Scorpius just because he’s Draco’s son and a Slytherin, or Cedric wouldn’t become a Death Eater because of those tiny things

It's Rubbish

I hate it, the characters are just not the people we know from the books. Plus, the time Turner rules were completly different! You can't change time because it already happened as PoA shows. Everything happened because Harry and Hermione went back in time, Buckbeak was always alive, he wasnt dead then they turned back in time and now he's not. But in the Cursed Child Cedric Diggory became a deaf eater! Correct me if I'm wrong but Cedric Diggory was never turning to the dark side. Also, Voldemort has a kid? Seriously!

Good but I think it is a smaller story than the other books
