I've just been thinking about this for a while . . .

And I apologize, because this is in response to nothing, it's just random.

I, for one, really like Draco Malfoy.

Now I know what you guys are thinking.

"But Tigress, 90% of all female Potterheads like Draco Malfoy! You're nothing special."

And in response, I say, "that's because Tom Felton is attractive."

I don't care if he's supposed to be attractive. In the books, he isn't, actually. I like him for his god-awful character.

Listen up, guys. He's not some precious angel that's been abused by his parents and forced into the dark side. He's a stuck up brat who gets in over his head. I don't like him because he's attractive, I like him because he isn't perfect. In fact, he's annoying and horrid and a wimp. But he's amazingly sarcastic and mean and confusing and I love it. And he's not actually evil, in the correct sense of the word. He may be a brat, but he's not Death Eater material. You saw how he broke down when he was given a job from Voldemort. He may have bragged about it at the beginning of the year, but he couldn't handle it. He's all talk.

And that's what makes him so realistic! How many of you know someone like this, a real jerk who brags all the time but can't get anything done? He's just like this realistic bully who does not have a hidden heart of gold, but that's perfectly fine, because he's an amazingly written character with depth.
