Uhm, you do know how government supported school systems work, right? I mean, the headmaster gets a budget and distributes it (mostly salaries and potion ingredients, food and stuff (some extra books too) because reparing things and stuff can be done by magic). Honestly I thought it was weird that the students always had to buy their books, we just always got them from the school for one year.

That's true.

It's the only school the Ministry has to fun, and and things like maintenance etc. can be done by magic so cut down the money for that, and repairing stuff, and electricity charges are actually cut down a lot as well as it's mostly lit by candles etc.

Guys a lot of people are not British so they might not know how we do things here

^It's not just british though. Many countries have free education and maybe to us it's a foreign concept that you'd have to pay for it
