I don't really understand is he with or against J.K.Rowling ?

Well he's saying that he doesn't agree with her but doesn't like all the hate and attacks she has been getting

I'm sure some people might have sent death threats so that might be what he is referring to

@Digorry fan - It's a case of him disagreeing with her regarding her views on the Trans community, but at the same time wanting her to be okay as he thinks the abuse she's been getting over her views is 'disgusting'.

Basically, staying friends with someone even if you don't agree on everything.

Despite this, people are kicking off at him for sending JK support, regardless of his public and continued disagreement with her point of view on Trans people.

These insults include calling him "Transphobic" (despite the fact he played a transsexual woman in another movie), "Pathetically clueless" and a "spineless little man" among others.

I think that people aren't really thinking through about what he said and just going on the attack

@Eaglewarrior33 - Yeah, pretty much. Heck, The Daily Dot's social media editor Anna Maria was asking why JK hasn't "been jumped yet" and wishes that JK would get punched in the face.

See that article is exactly what Eddie meant. Some people are making extreme threats and bad wishes upon her and he thinks it's "Disgusting". Just because someone has views that you disagree with doesn't mean that you should wish ill on them or threaten them.

In regards to Anna Maria, in her tweets she calls JK Rowling a "violent transphobe" before ironically declaring her own wish to see violence used against JK with the following:

“I hope her nose breaks and it gushes all over her clothes. I hope her teeth get knocked out and she can’t find them.”

Thing is, if you bring it up to these people about how hypocritical they are, they double down and instead insult you with a variety of buzzword insults because they've got pretty much nothing else to argue back with.
