I would say maybe. It would have helped us to know as how the boy was struggling inside and why he chose what he chose.

Nah, not really, I'm not too much of a fan of spiteful inner monologues (I mean he called Hermione a mudblood in public, what was he like in private). I would love to read it from Nevilles Pov though, that would be more like overcoming fear and self consiousness and finding yourself

There are probably some fanfics out there if you look for them
