Snape is very complex character, he has his pros and cons. People can differ their opinions of him in many ways but there is no wrong opinion.

I didn't like Snape in the first 6 books but of course by the end of the book I really liked him. He helped Harry and without his help we don't know what could have happened. Though, I do not like the fact that he keeps removing pts from Griffyndor bcoz of harry

I didn’t like him until the end of sixth book and at the end of sixth book, I hated him more than Voldemort. But at the end of 7th, he became one of my fav characters

Whether you like Snape or not I think we can all agree that Alan Rickman was perfect in portraying him

It's the same for me.

He was a bully alright, but it had reasons.

I'll list some of them :-

1 - JAMES POTTER

James was a big bully for Severus and as Harry looks exactly like him (except eyes), it is natural for the sensation of Revenge in him.

2 - DUMBLEDORE

As Dumbledore knew that Voldermort will return, maybe he asked Snape to be like that. So that the Dark Lord wouldn't know.

I DIDN'T LIKE SNAPE SINCE A LONG TIME BUT WHEN I FOUND HIS REALITY I HAVE BEEN LIKING HIM EVER SINCE AND WILL LIKE HIM "ALWAYS".

I really don't like Snape.

He bullied children, he hated Harry because he looked like James, he shamed Hermione's appearance, he frightened Neville so much that he became Neville's Boggart.

Severus Snape was not really a good person but a bully but I liked him at the end.
