Geez I well I have read the series like 15 times and read HBP separately about 20 times. So no I haven't read the books 47 times. But I'm not trying to say you shouldn't like him I'm just trying to show you that he isn't misunderstood.

His character definitely could've been handled better, and I believe he should've been the one with the redemption arc, not Snape (as in my opinion he didn't deserve it). Also Dramione is the worst ship after all those age-gap and incest ones.
