O my gosh I hate debating about this lol. Oh well, guess I’ll be raving on for hours. Ok, so the literal mascot is a freaking eagle. So why would it be anything BUT an eagle. Ok I know what you’re saying right now, “But, it has the word raven in it?!?!” Well yes I know, but that doesn’t mean that the mascot should be a raven. Yea at first you would think it’s the most obvious house to think of a mascot when you literally hear the name RAVENCLAW. It’s pretty muggle standard for Harry Potter. But Harry Potter is not muggle standard. Harry Potter is different and cool. Just like all three houses (I didn’t add slytherin because slytherin has a snake as it’s mascot and that really matches the name so...yea) Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, And Ravenclaw. So when you think of gryffindor I would personally think of a lion (the mascot) or a GRYFFIN. Get it, there’s the literal word gryffin in front of dor. Well anyway onto Hufflepuff. When I think of hufflepuff I think of a badger, just like the mascot. But, when you think about it, the mascot could also be a puffskien, or a pygmy puff. Cause you know PUFF. Well, onto Ravenclaw, when I think of Ravenclaw I think of an eagle. But, it literally says in the freaking name, RAVEN! So, it should be raven. Slytherin should stay as a snake though because a snake isn’t an everyday animal to live with unless you live on like a farm or something. I have spoken. Oh wait, wrong wiki to say that 😂
