Well, this wiki has many ravenclaws, but that doesn't necessarily mean the house is overrated? I'm myself a Gryffindor (which is narrowly outnumbered by Ravenclaw btw), but I also feel I have partly Ravenclaw traits. But I chose to be a Gryffindor, that's what matters.

And no one hates Hufflepuff! What makes you think that?! Two moderators of this Wiki are Hufflepuffs, and they are the nicest people I've seen!

And it still doesn’t mean they’re overrated just because there is a lot of Ravenclaws. It’s just that a lot of people in the Wiki identify with it’s traits and feel like it fits them.

There’s nothing wrong with sticking up for your house but please don’t tear other houses down in the process. Hufflepuff is great and they’re just as fantastic as the other houses, but so is Ravenclaw

Honestly yeah theres nothing against stating your opinion but all of the houses are great and if we’re really talking about overrated houses its hard to pick but i think gryffindor (sorry)

Ravenclaw isn’t overrated i think its just vastly outnumbered bc smart wise people would be most likely to go on a discussion forum for hours (sorry this is stereotyped)

I disagree with @PotatobabyxDD . As a Ravenclaw, I think that the reason there's so many of us is because of the traits that Ravenclaw values. See, I'm quite sure that Ravenclaw doesn't outnumber the other Houses by as much outside this Fandom—however, there are more Ravenclaws active here because since we value knowledge and intelligence, what better place to learn than the Fandom dedicated to the series?

As for Hufflepuffs? I think Hufflepuff is honestly one of the best Houses. Hufflepuffs are the best friends—they're infinitely loyal and really hardworking. Why are there so few Hufflepuffs? I think this is because Hufflepuffs do seem lesser, yes. With only one noticeable Hufflepuff in the main series—Cedric (who, unfortunately, died)—Hufflepuff can seem rather boring. But dig a little deeper. Why does there have to be a worst House?

Also. What do you mean, "Many people hate Hufflepuffs"? They're honestly the best friends you could ask for~ they're sweet, loyal, a shoulder to lean on.

And what's wrong with being happy that another Ravenclaw's arrived? What's wrong with having House pride? And see, the reasoning you use that Ravenclaw is overrated does seem to apply to Hufflepuff too. Rowling doesn't really use Hufflepuff, so why shouldn't there be more Hufflepuffs? See, have you seen how many Hufflepuff hybrids there are? I'm sure that many of those who voted Ravenclaw are Ravenpuffs, but only voted Ravenclaw because it's their main House. I wish people wouldn't assume things only because of what's on the surface. And I did notice that the "proof" you had is from 2018. From that, I can infer that you really couldn't find much proof, if you had to resort so posts from nearly three years ago.

I respect your opinion, but really, think about how hurtful you're being to those sweet Hufflepuffs who wouldn't lift a finger against you. Whose shoulders are the ones you lean on. Who are kind, loyal, always next to you, no matter what. Hufflepuff is the House I least associate with, and even I feel bad about all these false stereotypes about Hufflepuffs.

I'm honestly outraged by that Hufflepuff comment. I'm a Hufflepuff and it pisses me off a lot when my frnds are like, YOU'RE A HUFFLEPUFF?! YOU DESERVE MUCH BETTER THAN THE LOSERS HOUSE!! I honestly wanna smack the mouths that says these words, but bcoz we are too good, I don't do that. I mean, our main trait is LOYALTY. And what is the use of being brave or wise or ambitious if you are not loyal to your cause?!

And you said "most ravenclaws under rate hufflepuffs", followed by a screenshot from a random source- I completely disagree with that screenshot, but how on earth does that support the fact that we underrate Hufflepuffs? That could be written by a Gryffindor or something (not saying that Gryffindors underrate Hufflepuffs either, just that that isn't reasonable evidence). We don't underrate Hufflepuffs- I think Hufflepuff is a great house and it should have more people.

I also think it's worth mentioning that all houses are equal. They have different traits and faults, but they balance each other out and no House is better or worse than another.

Ravenclaws aren't overrated either- there really aren't that many Ravenclaws in the series that play an important role (I can only think of Luna, Flitwick, Cho, Lockhart and Quirrell, the last two of which are antagonists and we don't get to see Cho's Ravenclaw traits much). It's also the only house that doesn't have a main protagonist- Gryffindor has Harry, Hufflepuff- Newt, Slytherin- Albus, and Ravenclaw has nobody. Sure, there are a lot of Ravenclaws on this wiki, but that doesn't mean that it's overrated, that just means that there are a lot of people here that value those traits (and this was explained better by some comments above me lol).

There is the Sorting Ceremony on Pottermore and people get sorted into Ravenclaw. As well as in Slytherin, Gryffindor or Hufflepuff.... so I don't know what is your problem. Also people identify with their house... it is their choice! So please don't be so angry at other people's choices....
