Celestial started walking down the corridor, folding her arms and trying to keep warm. It was the coldest part of winter, and the only place that was really warm was her common room, Slytherin. However, it wasn't warm enough, as it was always in the deep dark dungeon, but she wished she could go inside. Celestial walked down the staircase, her dark black robes swishing behind her, and she entered Potions.
"Sylvadore! Over here!"
Celestial turned around to see the other Slytherins, sitting on the right of the classroom. She smiled and walked over, then stopped, looking to the left. A group of Hufflepuff girls were standing in a circle and laughing and talking. Celestial looked at them and frowned.
"Girls, shouldn't you be more focused on your studies than boys?"
"Go away! Stop eavesdropping, it's rude. Plus, you're a Slytherin, so go to your friends," one of the girls retorted. "Anyway, Gabrielle, I was looking at this new cloak..."
Celestial sighed and walked over to the Slytherin table, then sat down and smiled and told her friend, Lux, about the O.W.L.s coming up. Before long, the door of the dungeon opened and the room fell silent. Professor Snape swished in, then looked over at the Hufflepuffs, curling his lip. He looked at the Slytherins after, then started speaking.
"Today, we will be learning how to make the Strengthening Solution. There are 2 main ingredients to this potion, what are they?"
Celestial raised her hand.
"Miss Sylvadore?"
"Salamander Blood and Griffin Claw."
"Correct, 10 points to Slytherin." Snape gave her a half-smile. "Well then, the instructions are on the board." He pulled out his wand and pointed it to the board, where letters appeared, showing instructions on how to create the potion.
20 minutes later...
Celestial smiled at her potion, which was now turquoise and ready. It needed a few days until it was ready, but for now, Celestial was happy with it. When Professor Snape came around he looked at her potion and told her to put some on his desk to mature. She smiled brightly and did it immediately.
"Davis, I said salamander blood, not chili powder," Snape sneered, as he walked over and vanished the Hufflepuff's potion. "I want an essay, at least 1,75 feet long, by next class. 5 points from Hufflepuff."
After Potions, it was lunch time, so Celestial excused herself and walked outside, putting on a heavy cloak for warmth. She looked around to see roses, growing in the snow, hidden. She frowned, How could roses grow in winter? She started following the trail of them, until she saw a trapdoor, clearly hidden under a blanket of roses. Curiously, she opened the trapdoor, and saw more roses, bloomed all around. Celestial's eyes widened, and she put her hand over her mouth to make sure she didn't scream. She looked at the walls of the room and shut the trap door, then ran to the Great Hall. Should I go back? What if there's someone there? Should I get someone to come with me? She sat down and put her head in her hands.
Hope you enjoyed! I'll be posting again later, just tell me if you want me to ping you! Around 5/6 EDT/EST is when I'll be posting, so keep a lookout! Thanks!
