JK Rowling is legally entitled to share what ever opinions she likes without fear of being cancelled.

(I wasn't planning to post anything here, but y'all making me mad, so here we go ig)

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I seriously don't understand how she's transphobic. I have a feeling that half of y'all think this way because everyone says so.

Y'all literally hate on a woman who dedicated her life to charities, because of "periods". Like seriously? I'm non-binary myself (born as a female) and I'm very aware (and don't have a problem) of the fact that I'm biologically still a woman. When you think of a woman, a trans woman doesn't immediately come to your mind, right? Like y'all are really eager to go extreme because of exceptions (now I know you're gonna get this wrong too, lemme explain: There are more cisgender women on earth than transgender women, so we're naturally used to the one with more members, right? The others are considered exceptions. (Being an exception isn't a bad thing btw, as long as you're happy your pronouns doesn't matter)) Like people who menstruate are literally called women, idek why everyone's so mad about it. And there's literally a thing called "free-speech".

And don't even get me started with Ickabog. Like the only thing that happened there was a man putting on a dress and wig to act like a woman for a day. When I was little (when I didn't know I was non-binary) I used to put my long hair in my hoodie to act like a boy, but you wouldn't call me an a**hole for doing that, right? Like y'all are drama queens and this woman literally doesn't deserve the hate.

But some people have been hurt by what she's saying. I'm glad you aren't, but some people have been. You don't speak on behalf of every single trans or non-binary person. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and that should be respected.

You might be right, but the thing is 90% of the people who cancel her aren't even a member of LGBTQ+ community. I respect trans people who got offended, but I don't understand why some cisgender people act like they are the victims. And I'll continue to defend my thoughts, because she's more of a feminist instead of transphobic.

I personally am mad that a lot of people of such a vulnerable group felt invalidated.
