I disagree. The first books she wasn’t in a whole bunch, but the later ones she was. And she was a good witch in those books. As for the movie Ginny, they ruined the cool part of her and turned her awkward.

She was in the later books, but I guess it wasn't enough for me to get really attached to her. Movie Ginny was kind of awkward, though.

Book Ginny showed a lot of character growth throughout the series. In each book, she became more confident with herself. She went from being shy and awkward to being a hero. I feel like that character growth (which is actually pretty similar to neville's) earns her her hype

But movie ginny- they did her dirty. She's still awkward and has very little character growth. I don't hate her but I feel like the movies took the main reason I like her away

Maybe I'll reread the books again. I agree that she grew and it was nice to see, but she just did not get enough page time for me to form an opinion.
