When Harry first entered into platform 9 3/4 he was afraid of crashing. If you walk you have 0 probability of crashing

I think one of the Weasleys casually leaned against the barrier once? I don't think it's necessary to run either though lol
It's not required to but most people choose to bc 1: No majs/Muggles could notice and 2: Its more comfortable to run to not have hesitation
I agree, I think it's to avoid the hesitation. tbh though I don't think that would help me much loll
Yes, I think it was the Weasleys too.
I would much prefer prodding the wall to running into it with a heavy trolly and 100000 bystanders.
Also, as a Muggle, I would be more likely to look at a person with an owl and a packed trolly running into a wall than a person leaning against one.
But how do you um lean against the wall if it's a wall you can fall into--
Me being an idiot, if I tried to do that, i'd just fall -_-
Ikr I was so confused I just imagined them positioning themselves weird
Yeah xD you'd have to pretend to lean on it but also not put any weight on it even though it looks solid ahaha
It's a busy train station. I doubt anybody's going to notice somebody looking a bit funny with a bit of their arm stuck in a wall. People will notice kids running with trollies, because they will avoid crashing into them and also the trollies will be noisy (and the kids will seem mad)
But if everyone goes that slowly (like taking the time to walk slowly into the wall) won't there be a huge crowd in front of the platform? won't that draw attention too?
I think if muggles DID see kids running into walls, they'd just write it off as themselves going mad LOL
As people has said, there are a lot of people, and it doesn’t help that muggle school begins the exact same day
What do you think?
