@SiriuslyPadfoot As some of you may know, today is 'Day of Silence' day. The Day of Silence is to spread awareness about the effects of the bullying and harassment of LGBTQIA+ students and kids. As a proud member and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I ask that we all join in on the event today and a day long vow of silence for all to whom this is symbolizing. @Marls.M🔥 The Day of Silence is here and we must all take our vow. To all the homophobes, transphobes, and just cruel/sick people, this is not your day to ruin. We ask everyone to take a vow and stand up for these kids who need a voice. Show them they have support and they aren't alone! @MoonyLupin🌙 Today me, friends, family, students, and even teachers have all taken a vow. That vow is a vow of silence. LGBTQIA+ harassment and bulling needs to be addressed more as it effects the kids and even adults around us. No matter who you are, you matter and someones crap opinion won't change that. @LoganIsAbnormal My whole life, I have been terrified of being myself. I was always scared of judgement, opinion, people hating me, and just everything that could go wrong. But.. today is different. These past few months, my friends have made me feel so loved and supported that I'm willing to say I am Transgender and proud. She/her are my dead pronuns and I would kindly ask you all stay with He/Him as you have since you've meet me. I hope this changes nothing and quiet frankly.... I'm not scared of your opinions anymore. Thank you so much to my amazing girlfriend Jade for supporting me as you were the first person I ever told. And to all the kids out there, I hope this helps and inspires you to be who you are and be who you want to be. You are loved no matter what and fear should not control you. As you guys can tell by the chapter, it's the Day of Silence. I hope the cause of today has been explained above, but if not you should really look into it. I'm pretty sure it's more popular in America then anywhere else (correct me if i'm wrong please), but I still felt It's something I should touch upon. I also believe anyone can participate in this if they wish to no matter where you live.
Also, even though people being Transgender and other sexualities rather then Gay and Lesbian weren't as popular back in the 70's, this is a fanfic and I also wanted to include some representation. Please don't try and correct me on stuff, this chapter is dedicated to almost all the LGBTQIA+ member of my story who are out so far. And to all of you, I am also taking my vow of silence and hope you all do as well <3
I would also like to add this will effect the story and I did take a long time skip ik, but it will help with the story later on
