Since shipping became popular on this wiki, I've seen a lot of people come up with toxic/abusive ships. What are some fanon ships that are healthy and realistic? I don't usually see any fanfiction about anything other than ships that make no sense.

Idk, less toxic dan Drarry/Dramione
If I was a Drarry shipper:
My drarry headcannon is that now in honour of the anniversary they met, Draco insults harrys friends
Dramione shipper:
My dramione headcannon is that Draco now calls Hermione mudblood.
NOT BEING SARCASTIC (lol)
Idrc if it's toxic or not, Dumbledore is literally gay and therefore does not work
Well I think Sirius is straight and yet ppl ship him with Remus
But an underrated ship is CrabbexGoyle
Dumbledore was explicitly said to be LGBTQ+, specifically gay, whereas I don’t believe JKR has said anything about Sirius’ sexuality.
But Sirius is unconfirmed. Dumbledore is gay and JKR confirmed it
Idk I’ve just seen people ship Percy x Oliver before and it’s not exactly bad and can kinda make sense
My favorite ship EVER is def wolfstar, and it wouldnt be toxic cuz they already act really kind towards each other and they balance each other out
I dont like it either that people are shipping Dumbledore into straight ships, but hey harry potter fans has almost every single character in harry potter shipped into some kind of LGBTQ+ relationship
The issue is more that LGBTQ+ characters in YA fiction are few and far between, so when a character is confirmed to be LGBTQ+ its very exciting. However, when the fandom ignores this and still ship that character with someone of a gender or sex the character is not canonically attracted to, it’s a little annoying.
Most characters that are in fanon LGBTQ+ ships, however, are of an unconfirmed sexuality, and we assume they are straight because A) they are in straight relationships and B) we unfortunately live in a hetero-normative world.
I just wanted to get that out there, it’s not directed to anyone in particular.
I know I dont like how little of LGBTQ charactors there are too and I dont like people disrespecting them, either
What do you think?
