Also, if a half-blood marries a Muggle-born what blood status would their child have? Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere else, I'm just curious.

They would be half-bloods awell unless the child was born a Squib
It's called a human <3
It depends
The blood status of a witch/wizard is determined by their grandparents; if all four grandparents are magical then they would be pureblood.
However, if one or more of the grandparents aren't magical, then the child of two half-bloods would be half-blood.
Hope that made sense
I would say still half-blood
@Katy112 big round of Applause for the best answer.
B)
They are both half-bloods. It is only when a pure-blood marries a pure-blood is when the child is called a pure-blood.
They'd both be a halfblood. Halfbloods are any non pureblood or muggleborn wizard.
Since there are a few conflicting responses in the replies, here's the source that states that blood status is determined by grandparents
🤔 that would mean that you can have eight Muggle great-grandparents and still be a pure blood if all your grandparents were wizards/witches, right?
No wonder Death Eaters take special pride in their centuries aged pure blood wizard ancestry.
I guess they divide even pure bloods in real and... somehow... well...
What do you think?
