A cute platonic ship
Makes it look better than it was. Great art though
Mad, mad, mad. Snape called her one of the worst things you could call a Muggleborn, and was not a good friend to her at all. Besides that, Lily never had any romantic feelings toward him at all.
You only have to give me one picture of that ship
First of all, I'm neutral about it. It has its upsides and downsides. Lily was never truly in love with Snape, and considered him more of a friend than a romantic partner. If they had actually ended up married, their lives would be miserable. Let's face it, their personalities goes very different ways and they'd quarrel. It wouldn't be a healthy relationship for either of them. Plus, James had obviously stopped being a bully, just for Lily. That shows how much he loved Lily to the extent that he would give up a lot for her. Snape and Lily went separate ways as well. Snape chose to befriend a bunch of blood supremacists that would later be Death Eaters. Lily obviously disapproves of such, but did Snape listen? No. He proceeded to become a Death Eater himself, and for that I don't blame Lily for severing ties with him. Another thing about this ship is that Snape literally insulted Lily, calling her a m*dblood, one of the worst discriminations you could inflict upon someone in the Wizarding World. That's racism, in Wizarding terms. And he was supposedly her friend. Now, here's some of the upsides. Snape loved Lily so passionately that he would quit being a Death Eater to protect her son, however bitterly and unwillingly he might be. And no, I disagree that the love was obsessive. In short, it's a pretty meh ship for me.
Thank you for reading my rant *Bows*

YES YES YES YES BEST SHIP EVER (in my opinion)
They were good friends in the first half of their Hogwarts years, and that I respect. But no, I don't ship Snily at all.
What do you think?
