And I didn't really like it since it ventured from canon in several places

I wish there was an option of in the middle - I can't say it was "excellent" but I can't say it was "trash"

It wasn't trash but definitely not excellent, my biggest issue is that it was advertised as the eight story, the plot is very weak like it completely ignores some of the established things from the original books and tbh I just don't like time travelling all that much.
