1 No, I think not only was there so much else going on but Hagrid definitely would've felt bad and I don't think Harry or Ron wanted that

2 No, if that happened, there would've been an outcry (rightfully so) by parents and staff alike. Furthermore it's not like you can easily find their nest just by strolling along in the forest. To find it you have to follow the spiders.

Acromantulas are still wild animals and while Aragog could protect Hagrid, I don't think he had the chance to protect Harry and Ron even if he wanted.

3 Buckbeaks death was definitely caused by the Malfoys, however t's not like the muggle world is much different. If a dog attacks a person it's put down as well so (as harsh as it sounds) I really wasn't surprised. The general stance on magical creatures doesn't help either (the ministry has quite an attitude about the "beasts")

They're friends and I doubt Hagrid knew the spiders weren't safe to be around. He never got in trouble with them and he's notorious for underestimating any creature

Honestly, Arogog was probably offended that Harry and Ron insinuated that Hagrid opened the Chamber of Secrets back in 1942, and that Arogog was the monster that killed that girl back then.

But honestly, I don’t care wether or not you don’t like spiders, no one would willingly go into a cave filled with giant man eating spiders. If there was any character I could relate to in that movie and scene, it’s Ron.

Y'all are assuming when Hagrid said "follow the spiders" he meant towards Aragog.

If they'd followed the spiders the OTHER WAY, they'd have found the Chamber of Secrets a lot faster.
