^I really have to disagree. Sirius was from a pedagocical point of view an exception. Dracos' behaviour is the common one. Children adapt their parents behaviours and views. That's natural and while Sirius did it better, he also had better chances to do that. I mean his family had basically written him off once he got into Griffindor. Then he found the best friends one could have who were against his parents as well. This is not excusing Dracos bhevaiour but explaining it. Draco had never seen another way of life, another way of thinking and knew his fathers love was linked to how he would behave. You also cannot really compare Snape and Draco, there just aren't that many similarities and it would be very unfair
^^ I am not comparing Snape and Draco...I definitely understand the age gap, but on the other hand it was never showed that Draco didn't want to do bullying, he not only bullied children just for his father's sake but also that he also had fun bullying them...
He was a git and deserved what he got at the end of almost every year (hexed and cursed on the train returning to king's cross till he resembles a slug lmao XD)
I would say he’s an interesting character. Not necessarily someone to look up to. I think that his parents didn’t do a good job of raising him. But, interesting and I hope he approaches life differently in the next books.
