I was rewatching the movies and I remembered of things that annoyed me the most about it. The lack of explanation of how things work.
Examples:
MACUSA: We got a general explanation of it when J.K. released the Pottermore article, but we don't know how they function. If you go to the wiki page there are all these job descriptions, but no explanation.
Spells: We see a lot of non-verbal spells, and we kind of have to guess their function. Like in the first movie, when Tina and Queenie change their clothes to go in The Blind Pig. What is that exactly? Did they transform their clothes or it's just an illusion? Because in the next scene they are with their previous clothes. The second movie is the same. The scene of Newt in the french version of Diagon Alley, when he uses that gold thing to track. What's supposed to do exactly?
Crystal ball: How does that work? Can any wizard see into the future? Flamel wasn't even trying to look into it and suddenly popped. It's been a while since I read Prisoner of Azkaban, so maybe there is an explanation there.
The phoenix book: It was full of empty pictures like they moved, but I thought only portraits could do that, and only between their own portraits. And yet Lally(?) appeared like it was live. Similar to Harry's mirror in Deathly Hallows.
Well, there is more but I think these summarize my problem with the movies. I understand is not a book so things can't be explained the same way, but I just wish J.K. had released articles explaining things from the movies as she did prior to the release of the first one. Maybe I'm too annoying, and these things are ridiculous, but I like to know things.
