IMO, he’s more interesting than some more popular death eaters like Bellatrix. He’s psychotic, sure, but has reasons for joining Voldemort are more complex than just growing up with in a bigoted family and by default adopting their views. In fact, I think there’s a big chance Barty doesn’t have at all that strong of an opinion on blood prejudice at all. He’s loyal to Voldemort, whom he see as a father figure, not to his agenda.

^On the contrary. Ron is so loving, and he needed someone to love him as much as he would them. And might I point out this: Ron was the one who screamed for Bellatrix to torture him instead. Not Harry, Ron. That’s how much he loved her. He would face a million dementors just to give Hermione a chance to save herself.

Not only that but also this: I recently read an article on Wizarding World about Hermione liking Ron from the beginning. Read it and it shows it all. Plus, in the BOOK of the Half-Blood Prince, Hermione trails off, in the movie she lies and says she smells spearmint toothpaste, but the fumes were the color of a certain someone’s hair. And she wanted to ask Ron to the Christmas party, not only that, but she also pelted Ron with birds when he got with Lavender, you can argue that it was a stupid thing, but I think it was showing how upset she was, not at Ron, but at herself for not getting with him sooner.
