Since certain groups and witches and wizards in other parts of the world in general did not/did not really interact with one another back in wizarding history, could those witches and wizards have created the same spells and potions, but with different incantations or potion recipes. Take the Native Americans for instance, Native Americans needed spells to do the same things that the spells and charms we know of do. Perhaps they created their own Unlocking Charm and etc., but in their own languages. America had its own magical plants that were different than those of say, Europe. They could not have been able to use those ingredients and may not even have known about the different potions and their recipes. It is highly probable that they had to create the same potions we know of from the books, but with magical plants and ingredients that could have been found in the New World from back then.
