”I mean, not really. It’s gonna be a small thing Mary, we already talked about this. Dumbledore and the others think a big thing with lots of people wouldn’t be a good idea. It’s just the family, close friends, and some Order members that are coming.”
Mary groaned and put most of the invitations back in her pocket, only holding a few now. “Fine, small venue, I got it!”
James just laughed and turned back to the others. “Alright, what were you saying?”
”We were just taking roll call Potter. I’ve already marked you off.” Emmeline Vance, an Order member who was a year above them in school, said with a slightly annoyed head-shake, though a grin on her face.
”Sit down, James.” Lily sighed, pulling him down
Emmeline called a few more names before handing the charts off to another guy. “Alright, we got everyone except Logan Smith and Jayden Williams. Are we ready to start.”
“Jade and Logan aren’t here? I thought J say they were coming last night?” Mary whispered to Alice.
”I thought they were to. Maybe troubles with the car again? I know it broke down on Logan last week.”
”They could’ve floo in though.” Mary muttered, annoyed and trying to keep her voice down after getting a glare from one of the girls sitting across from them.
”I’ll message J after the meeting and see what’s up.” Frank said to them both, and paying back attention to the meeting

“Logan, can I come in?” Jade asked as she knocked on the door, moving a box to the side.
“Yeah..” Logan said, opening the door and holding it open to let her in. Jade sat down on the bed, and he did As well, though he laid his head in her lap as she instinctively went to running her hands through his hair.
After awhile of sitting in silence, Jade looked down at him. “Logan, are you alright?”
He sighed and rubbed his hands over his face before smacking them down on the bed. “Yeah I’m fine, why?”
Jade gave him a look at his response, which clearly said ‘come on, seriously?’ and he rolled his eyes looking over at the wall.
“I don’t know alright? Thing have just.. I don’t know.. Seemed so hard lately.”
“Because of the War?” Jade asked, hesitant though.
“And other things..” he sighed, still turned from her.
“Is it your Aunt again? Is she sick?” Jade asked, her tone saddened.
“Yeah, but that’s not the problem. I mean well.. I-it is the problem just not exactly problem.. you get what I mean right?”
Jade nodded her head, and continued running her hands through his hair, braiding and unbraiding it as she went through. She knew if she talked or interrupted him, that would be the end of the conversation as he was starting to finally rant a bit.
“It’s just all going to fast and is so crazy to the point it’s scary. Everyone is rushing into things, the world is rushing into things. I mean come on, I love Alice and Frank, Lily and James to of course, but we just got out of school three months ago and they are already engaged? Sirius, Marlene, Rem, and Dorcas are all doing there things at there house, who knows what Mary and Pete are up to (as individuals), and everyone’s going this Order thing, and 6 just.. it’s just scary..”
Jade nodded her head again, agreeing with him. She had been so happy for her friends she never really stopped to see how crazy it all was. Though it wasn’t all bad or anything.
“And I know that this war is going to happen and going the order is what we’re supposed to do but..”
“But you don’t want to..” Jade said, letting go of his hair and sadly smiling.
He sighed and looked to her now. “Don’t think me a horrible person. I know that
we should be helping and it’s selfish to not want to help but I’m.. im scared Jayden… I’m really, really scared…”
Jade was shocked by his reaction, but more shocked by the use of her actual name. She knew Logan had been having thoughts about the Order and the war, but not like this.
“Logan, I would never think you a horrible person. You, in fact, are the most wonderful person I have ever met. And it’s not selfish, I understand, cause it is scary Logan. We’re all scared. And if this is something you really don’t want to do, nobody is forcing you to Logan. We still need to help, and there will be times we might be forced to help Lo, but the Order isn’t something you have to do.”
Logan frowned and put his hands over his face. “No, no I want to help, it’s something I need to do I just… I don’t know how I’m gonna do this all J..”
Jade gave him a smile, lowered her head a bit, and gave him a small peck on the lips. “Together, we’ll do this together Logan, every step up the way.

I have been spending a lot of time focused on the main characters, that’s realize Logan and Jade, and even Frank and Alice ig, seem like side characters at this point, so here’s a pair for them!
Just some inside for this chapter, Unlike everyone else, Jade and Logan don’t live together yet. Jade has recently moved into the new apartment they both plan to move into, but Logan still lives at his Aunts house, as he has since he was little, and is getting ready to move. Jade spent the night at Logan and his Aunts house to help him pack all of his stuff and so they could attend the Order meeting together, though that last part never got to happen. Just wanted to add this incase anybody gets confused while reading.
I have so many Headcanons for Jogan (Idk, any better ship name ideas lmao) and I tried to add a few in here.
Would you guys maybe want a chapter or just like a side sorta post for the fanfic where I explain Logan and Jades backstories and other stuff? Cause I have PLENTY to share lol
