I mean, I don't think that being rejected at age eleven is really able to explain killing loads of people. I think that he didn't want to die so much, since his mother sort of gave up, and her death led to so much pain for him that he feared death, and would be willing to do anything to stop dying.
Voldemort became evil because his mother gave his father a love potion, Tom was their son, and because he was made out of love potion, he was never able to feel love or an emotion closer to that, that's basically the main reason.
Uh well it’s kinda a question but you know how Peter Pettigrew was Wormtail? Well on the Mauraders Map he’s Peter Pettigrew when he’s moving around. And I’m 99.9% sure that the Mauraders would put in their nicknames when moving around. So why was peter Pettigrew on the map and not wormtail? Because he betrayed the Potters. So why didn’t Remus just go, ‘oh yeah go look at the map and if Peters name is on there he betrayed them’? Does that make sense?
