So this is kinda random but this kinda just came to me:

So Lily and Jame's funeral would have been huge deal in the Wizarding world because it was the deaths that got rid of Voldemort (if that makes any sense) Anyway, Petunia probably wouldn't have been invited to it because she's a muggle. Maybe that could be way she felt ok with treating Harry the way she did.
