Before I begin, I am going to state an unpopular opinion of mine: I LOVED the Cursed Child! But, I also love making fun of the things I love! So, I’m going to be pointing out the things that are wrong with the Cursed Child. Remember, at the end of the day, this is still canon, whether you like it or not.

1. Cedric

So, this is something that sticks out to me in particular. We all know and love Cedric’s time in the books. He was introduced in the PoA, with a much more significant part in the GoF. The first book I mentioned showed one of his traits already, his fairness. When Harry fell off his broom due to the dementors, he caught the Snitch and then saw Harry. Cedric, being a fair player, requested a rematch, though didn’t get one. He told his dad about this, and said in the GoF, that he didn’t feel that he won fair and square. We know from the alternate timeline, the one where Harry died, Cedric became a Death Eater. Why? BECAUSE HE LOST A FRIGGING GAME. That cancels out EVERYTHING we know and love about Cedric. HOW BITTER DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO BECOME EVIL BECAUSE OF A TOURNAMENT?!

2. Ron and Hermione’s love

Okay, so they fully realized they loved each other when Ron mentioned the House Elves, causing Hermione to kiss him. In the same alternative timeline mentioned above, Hermione is kinda a bizz nitch. She literally said “Close your mouth when you’re looking at me, Weasley.” I don’t know what happened to their memory of that kiss. Maybe it never happened because they were grieving over Neville, maybe they suppressed their feelings due to the fact that there’s a war. I don’t know, but as a Ronmione shipper, I had to include this.
