Unpopular opinion...

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 was better than part 2.

Part 2 seemed gloomier and sad and lacking in hope. I felt empty even though in the books it seems momentous and a great achievement after Voldemort dies by his own hands and Harry is surrounded by friends and family for support during and after the final battle.

I like how action-packed part 1 is and how there are lots of different locations the trio explore together. There's lots of detail and very exciting which keeps me on the edge of my seat.

Part two had action too but it dragged on for too long which kinda took away from it.

In general, it feels like some shots in these last films were too long and stretched out - like zooming in on a wide shot.

I know many people like part two and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

P.S. so excited for FB3:the secrets of Dumbledore. Gonna watch it as soon as it comes out. I love all the info we are getting from various trailers but right now it is enough! ;) So much to explore and discover in this film.

Can't wait to see everyone's feelings and reaction after watching it!!! :)

I just have a really popular opinion on liking prisoner of Azkaban because there’s no big death. I mean the first and second movie or books didn’t have any death too but it’s way less exciting.

Goblet of Fire was a piece of art. I personally don't care if they left out some of the plot because I've already read the books and I know what happens. With the plot out of the way, in the movies, I focus on the artistry of it. The most beautiful and well-done scene in GoF was the scene where Harry came back to the main stadium, and everyone slowly realizes that Cedric's dead. Also, the court scene was so dramatic and fitting. The colors all fit together. They could have spiced up the perspectives more, but all of the movies had perspective issues. The graveyard scene was the perfect amount of dark. Overall, it was extraordinarily artistic and well-made.

I mean GoF was pretty good.

But I don’t like it because it makes me stress out that no one believes Harry when he told them about Voldemort being back, that’s part of the reason why I don’t like the 5th one

I agree to the post, I think DH 1 is better than 2, but just because there are more things going on, DH 2 only focuses on hocruxes and the battle of hogwarts, while DH 1 focuses on so many other things, and also yes, DH 1 is less depressing

Yeah overall the movies are great especially the Columbus ones. But they make some things stuck in my head when reading the books. Such as Voldemort has red eyes and no flattened nose and also I was surprised with Book Ginny as she is so popular and confident I could only imagine Bonnie Wright in the opposite way.

Are y'all ready and excited for Hogwarts Mystery and Fantastic Beasts 3?

What other differences from book to movie bothers you most? I don't like how PoA leaves out the quidditch and that it was Oliver Wood's last year - one of my favourite characters. And most of it is spent on the time travel when there are key details missing which are found in the book.
