These posts probably should be focused more on Harry Potter than on the creators. We don’t need to spend a lot of time discussing Daniel Radcliffe’s politics either.

That being said, JK’s views are abhorrent. She is certainly welcome to her misguided views, but it is not cyberbullying to call her out on those views. She says she doesn’t want trans people to abuse their rights, but trans people haven’t abused their rights. She just assumes they will, because she is transphobic.

As said above. Also, posts about JKR were allowed in the past, but believe me when I say that nothing good came out of leaving them open- there were heated arguments, accusations, profanity targeting other users, etc., so we ultimately made the decision to lock posts about JKR’s controversial views for the time being. I hope that makes sense as to why discouraging posts about this issue isn’t “stupid”, as you called it.

Additionally, please note that any comments against trans people/their rights are strictly against Fandom’s Terms of Use. They can result in a block/ban, and have in the past. JKR’s transphobia is clear from her own Twitter posts, not because other people twisted her words and created “silly posts” about it.
