Hints: the answer was mentioned in the main series. It's a group. Knowledge of a specific area outside the HP universe could help, however it's not needed to solve the riddle. The number of people in this group is known. In a way, this could be considered well-known to people in general. They're not described as all human.
(these require some decoding):
1st: 25th and 44th but only when ancient (the '1st' tells you where to look in the riddle; what you get after decoding that first hint requires knowledge of something that's on the wiki page but isn't well-known. However, you might've heard of it from something else. There isn't any solving for this besides knowing what the numbers mean, that'll give you the answer spelled differently)
organizations ceiling I along with all among student all among among (the meaning of this line doesn't matter, but solving this isn't like solving the musical lines; consider the placement of these words in the riddle)
The second hint might be easier to solve for and know, but the first hint will basically hand you the answer, depending on your background knowledge (it gives you another name that isn't as well-known, so you may or may not know it, though it is on the wiki page. The answer to the second hint tells you something closely tied to where the answer was mentioned.)
In the first line, the establishment refers to the specific year it was claimed Hogsmeade was established (10th century). In this case, the 'I' means 1. 'Lost' translates to a mathematical operation and 'frog-brained ceiling' refers to something that happened in CoS. While the 'among more' is part of the quote before that, it's not meant to be translated into a number or refer to everything the quote is a part of; you’re not really supposed to do much with it, it’s just there to let you know the quote is part of a bigger thing. This line, along with the musical line, is all about numbers.
The lines with musical lyrics have words that are meant to turn into numbers. How they turn into numbers has nothing to do with knowing about the musicals. There's a reason why I capitalized these lines the way I did. I chose TLT and Hadestown for a reason. I changed the lyrics so they would work with what I had in mind. Knowing the original lyrics can help you see the difference, since the amount of words don't change (at least for TLT lyrics). The key doesn't depend on the letters, but something important in music changes when I changed the lyrics, and that's important. Figuring out the key to these lines might greatly help you with a later hint. The '&' and '+' are used to signify I want you to use the numbers in different ways.
The last two lines (not including the 'who are we' line) don't have much to do with numbers, and not in the way that the first line does.
The last line is a result of page(s) other than the wiki page for this answer. Their work is seen in places other than HP and has its own wiki page. (Un x2)stopped could also be phrased as 'stopped and unstopped and unstopped'. 'Caused beats' is meant to be taken with the (un x2)stopped. The unstopping isn't really referring to the action of being unstopped, more who's doing the unstopping.

Heh- we've got two ties going on
Anyway, this riddle is slightly unusual, my original plan didn't really work when I tried to use it, so I supplemented some other stuff. But there still are, of course, hidden hints in the riddle which I'll point y'all towards later.
IMPORTANT:
For the first two lines- the 'or' is there because only one of them is needed to get information, there are just two different ways to get it.
You are not allowed to look up song lyrics, however, if you have questions regarding them, I will try my best to answer them (original song lyrics are posted here). You do not need to know these musicals to solve this riddle, everything you need is right there in the riddle/in the hints I give you.
Have fun!
