(MY OPINION) I don’t think Romione is a good ship. I’d honestly have Hermione single than be with Ron. Here are some reasons I think they are terrible for each other:
Hermione never showed any interest in Ron until the 6th Book/Movie
(Ron barely recognizes Hermione as a Girl in Goblet of Fire and Hermione doesn’t show any interest until Lavender comes into the picture.)
Ron constantly is rude to Hermione.
(Think of all the times Hermione has cried or been upset. Most, if not all was from Ron being a b***** to her.)
They both argue a lot.
(Yes couples fight a little bit the amount of times throughout the series these two fight are way too often and aren’t healthy at all.)
Ron doesn’t even remember their wedding!
(Cursed Child is canon. I don’t care if you don’t like it. JKR confirmed it to be canon. If you remember in the Play, Ron wants to renew his vows Because HE WAS DRUNK AND DOESN’T REMEMBER HIS WEDDING! What kind of husband does that?!?)
Ron obviously is always childish and never moves on.
(At the end of the DH book at Platform 9 3/4, Ron sees The Malfoy family and he tells Rose to not get friendly with Scorpius for her Grandfather won’t ever forgive her for being close to a Malfoy.)
He isn’t as smart as Hermione.
(Yes Ron is smart but his intellect doesn’t match Hermione’s. Hermione has been better at Magic before their first lesson it would seem. Ron would only be average. Hermione should Have someone who’s intelligence matches hers and can keep up with her. )
JKR LITERALLY REGRETS HAVING THEM TOGETHER
(In an interview JKR said that she regrets having put Ron and Hermione together. )
